CHItaly 2025 is organized by the Department of Computer Science, University of Salerno.
The Computer Science Department (DI) is the only Computer Science department in the Centre-South that has obtained recognition from the Ministry of University and Research as a department of excellence for the five-year period 2023-2027. This recognition was shared with only one other IT department in Italy.
Established in the early 1970s, the Department boasts a long tradition of excellence in both research and education, consistently earning high rankings in national evaluations. With around 50 faculty members, it offers a wide range of high-quality programs and research initiatives that contribute significantly to advancements in the field of computer science.
